Acts 5:18-20 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison. But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Reflection the Day: The Work Must Go Forth

As God was using the apostles in a mighty way, the high priest rose up and placed them in prison. God responded by sending an angel to open up the prison doors, freeing all. They were sent back to the temple to continue speaking to the people. The work must go on.

As you do the will of God, you will face opposition. There will be times that it may appear that the work has been stopped. Fear not, for the Lord is yet with you. Whatever needs to take place will occur, for the work must go forth.
