Acts 16:25. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Thought for the Day: Let Nothing Steal Your Praise

Reflection for the Day: Your Praise Will Impact Others

In the midst of a most challenging situation, Paul and Silas both prayed and sang praises unto their God. They did it in such a manner that all the prisoners heard both their petitions and their songs. Perhaps some understood the purpose of the prayer but why did these men in prison praise their God? Surely as the Lord moved, and all the bands were loosed, they knew the God of Paul and Silas had power.

Your praise has the power to impact others, and cannot be yielded because of any condition. Even at midnight, as you pray, include the praise that the Lord deserves. Not only will the results of your praise impact you, but those that have observed your spirit will begin to recognize there is power in the one you praise. Your praise will impact others, let nothing steal it.
