Simeon was a faithful child of God, one that understood the prophecies found in the scriptures. He also was sensitive to the voice of the Spirit. It was the Spirit that revealed to Simeon that, before he died, he would see the Christ child. The Spirit was accurate, it occurred just as He said.

God speaks both through His Word and His Spirit. Both provide accurate information. As the Spirit speaks to you it is essential that you hearken to His voice. He is able to declare today what will occur tomorrow. Your blessings become available through your obedience. Obey and be blessed.
