Morning Reflection

John 18:11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Thought for the Day:  All of God's Will Must Be Fulfilled

Reflection for the Day:  Not Even The Challenging Times Can Be Avoided

Peter, seeking to protect Jesus from the soldiers, drew his sword and cut the soldier's ear off.  Jesus responded by instructing him to put up his sword.  What was occurring was all a part of God's will and it must be fulfilled.  Not even the challenging times can be avoided.

Not all that the Lord has planned for your life is going to be pleasant.  In the midst of your journey, you will encounter challenging but essential times.  They are all a part of God's plan for you and cannot be avoided.  As you learn to pray, you will be able to go forth with an obedient spirit, recognizing that all of God's will must be fulfilled.
