2 Chronicles 7:14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

 

Thought for the Day: God's Mercy Awaits Your Prayer
 
Reflection for the Day: Seek God, He Will Respond
 
When Solomon sought the Lord to make the Temple a place of prayer he recognized that Israel would fall to sin. Understanding the Spirit of the Lord even at these times of disobedience he petitioned God to hear their cries of true repentance. The Lord responded declaring that if His people would pray and seek Him He would hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. His mercy awaited their cries.
 
Don't allow weakness to keep you from God. As you make the decision to forsake sin and seek the Lord you will discover a God of mercy. The Lord awaits your cry regardless of your current state. Seek Him, He will respond.
